Foundation Course

BABTT's renowned Foundation Bobath Course lays the groundwork for therapists seeking to work with children with cerebral palsy and allied neurological conditions. This intensive eight-week programme focuses on both typical and atypical child development. Learners immerse themselves in the neurodevelopmental treatment framework and practical strategies, working across professional boundaries in a trans-disciplinary setting.

The course is ideal for professionals wishing to build a solid foundation in the Bobath Approach, leading to enhanced skills in assessing and managing children's movement, function and posture. Many BABTT members have found this course an essential step in their ongoing professional journey.

Annual Education Day

Each year, BABTT organises an Annual Education Day, bringing together Bobath-trained therapists from around the UK. This informative event covers focused topics in the management and treatment of cerebral palsy, drawing on the latest research and developments in the field.

Participants can expect guest lectures, interactive sessions and plenty of opportunities for discussion and networking. Whether exploring new assessments, intervention techniques or recent advances in Bobath therapy, our Education Day is an excellent way to keep your knowledge and skills up to date, while connecting with peers in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Practical Workshops

BABTT provides regular, practical Bobath workshops delivered by accredited Bobath Tutors. These hands-on sessions are suitable for professionals who wish to enhance their confidence and competence in the assessment and intervention of children with cerebral palsy.

Workshops are held at a variety of venues throughout the UK and in the Republic of Ireland, providing accessible opportunities for all therapists. The practical focus ensures that attendees leave with skills they can apply immediately in their day-to-day practice, bolstering their professional abilities and enriching their patients' outcomes.

Lunch and Learn

To accommodate busy professional schedules, BABTT offers regular Lunch and Learn sessions which provide bite-sized Bobath CPD events in an accessible format. These online sessions are the perfect way for therapists to gain insights from experienced practitioners, study real-life cases and explore the neurodevelopmental treatment approach during their lunch break.

Designed to be both educational and interactive, these sessions encourage informal discussion, allowing you to stay connected with ongoing developments in Bobath therapy education.
